The results of the DionysiaTrust Piano Prize 2014 which took place on 15 November 2014 at the Parnassos Literary Society in Athens are listed below. Congratulations to all the competitors!

1st Runner-Up: Konstantinos Tambakis
2nd Runner-Up: Vasiliki Andrioti

The winners have been invited to perform in an Award Ceremony Concert on Sunday, 23 November, 2014 at 13:00 at the Parnassos Literary Society in central Athens (Plateia Ag. Georgiou Karytsi 8). The winners will be awarded their cash prizes and will perform the competition repertoire of works by Chopin. This year guest pianist Maria Anastasiou will perform a brief program of Erik Satie and Claude Debussy.

The concert will be open to the public. Tickets will be available at the door for 8 euros and 4 euros for students, children under 12 free. Proceeds will go to the continued support of young artists and musicians through the initiatives of Dionysia Trust.

The results of the DionysiaTrust Piano Prize 2013 which took place on 23 November 2013 at the Parnassos Literary Society in Athens are listed below. Congratulations to all the competitors!

The winners have been invited to perform in an Award Ceremony Concert on Saturday, 30 December, 2013 at 20:00 at the Parnassos Literary Society in central Athens (Plateia Ag. Georgiou Karytsi 8). The winners will be awarded their cash prizes and will perform the competition repertoire of works by Chopin. This year the Oxford Club Athens will be supporting the event and pianist Miltos Melegoglou will perform a brief program of Rachmaninov and Listz.

The concert will be open to the public. Tickets will be available at the door for 10 euros and 5 euros for students. Proceeds will go to the continued support of young artists and musicians through the initiatives of Dionysia Trust.

We are pleased to announce that the Award Ceremony Concert 2013 will be filmed by the local television station Attica TV.

On 25 November 2012 pianists aged 14-19 years old competed before an independent panel of judges for the DionysiaTrust 2012 Piano Prize at the Parnassos Literary Society in Athens. The results of the DionysiaTrust Piano Prize 2012 are listed below:

The DionysiaTrust 2011 Piano prize, a nationwide piano competition for pianist under the age of 18, as held on 19 November 2011 at the Parnassos Literary Society in Athens. The results of the Dionysia Trust Piano Prize 2011 are listed below:

1st Prize Name: Angelique Tragin

2nd Prize Name: Apostolos Ziogas

3rd Prize Name: Christos Gionas-Kontos

Runner-Up: Stathis Chomatsas

The DionysiaTrust Board of Directors noted that the success of the event was due to the talented musicians who participated in the Competition and in particular to the many generous contributors who were vital to its realization. In particular, the Board extended its special thanks to the volunteer staff who have supported DionysiaTrust throughout the year, the panel of judges, the Parnassos Literary Society for the use of its concert hall facilities and of course to all the friends, donors, and supporters of DionysiaTrust.

The Board announced that the DIONYSIATRUST 2012 PIANO PRIZE will be held in the fall of 2012, with the exact date, location, and application procedures to be provided in the spring of 2012 through the Dionysia Trust website.

The DIONYSIATRUST PIANO PRIZE is an annual piano competition which has been established to support and promote talented young musicians in Greece principally. DionysiaTrust has been founded in loving memory of Denise Dionysia Mamakos.
